Sussex County Skylands Ride provides public transportation to residents of Sussex County, NJ.
Deviated fixed route service operates scheduled routes from 5:00am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday. To view the schedule, click here. Fare for this service is $.50 for each trip. There are fare discounts available to senior citizens and people with disabilities.
Demand response service is available to senior citizens and people with disabilities who cannot ride or do not have access to the public LOOP bus service. To register for service or request a trip, call (973) 579-0480 and press 1. Trips must be reserved 48 business hours in advance. Riders may go to the grocery store, bank, post office, hairdresser or perform other in-county errands on scheduled days. Both in-county and limited out-of-county non-emergency medical transportation is available. A donation of $1.50 per trip is suggested.
Transportation services are also available via either the LOOP bus or the demand response service to take residents to and from employment and employment related activities.
Vehicles are accessible and provided with wheelchair lifts.
