"Get A Human" Release Date: February 08, 2006 New Website Launched We've noticed an interesting trend occuring with callers to the 24 hour Sussex County Help Line/2-1-1. Some callers are beginning the call with expressions of joy at finally speaking with "a real, live human being." They also express earlier frustrations in trying to deal with automated, menu driven phone systems. So when we found this Website we thought there might be broader interest in it, beyond the use of agencies similar to ours in which staff do a lot of Web based research or advocacy on behalf of callers or clients. It's a "cheat sheet" --a listing of frequently called numbers and ways to by-pass their automated phone systems and get to a real, live, human being.
