SC OEL Collaborative Joins SC CSA
May 18th the Sussex County Council of Service Agencies and Sussex County OEL Collaborative merged, combining the two largest human service networking groups in the county.
There has long been a membership overlap between the two, with 40 of the 55 member agencies of OEL maintaining membership in CSA; and 40 of the 61 members of CSA also participating in OEL. OEL will function as a standing Technology Commitee of CSA.
This gives CSA member agencies access to technology while giving OEL member agencies the opportunity for "in the flesh" networking and information sharing beyond what's possible electronically. CSA meets the secong Wednesday of every month; each month one agency is featured as the Presenting Agency, giving all members the opportunity to learn in greater detail about programs being provided locally. In the above photo, this month members participated in an assests building demonstration during a presentation by Becky Carlson/ SC Coalition for Healthy & Safe Families.
