Friends and former colleagues of Maureen Babula in the Sussex County Human Services Community extend their heartfelt sympathy to her and her husband, George, following the death of their younger son, Conor.
Conor Patrick Babula, 21, of Harmony Township, N.J., died Nov. 25, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. The funeral will begin at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, www.fineganfh.com, on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Entombment will be at the Holy Apostles Mausoleum, Greenwich Township, N.J. Calling hours are on Monday at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Conor was born on Sept. 10, 1988, in Easton, Pa., to George and Maureen Byrne Babula. He worked for Abilities of Northwest New Jersey in Washington, N.J. Surviving are his parents of Harmony Township; brother, Justin Babula of Toms River; many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially his best friend, Adam Smith, and his beloved German Shepherd, Sadie.
